Why “The Persian Gate”?
The name "Persian Gate" is inspired by a historic moment of bravery and resistance in Iranian history—the Battle of the Persian Gate in 330 BCE. In this battle, a small group of Persian warriors, led by Ariobarzanes, made a courageous stand to protect their homeland and cultural heart, Persepolis, against a powerful invading force. Just like that mountain pass once served as the last gateway to the Persian Empire, The Persian Gate today symbolizes a gateway to the rich language, culture, and heritage of Iran. By naming my business this way, I want to honor that spirit of resilience and pride—and invite learners to step through the “gate” into a deeper understanding of Persian identity, history, and beauty.
